Last Thursday evening, ³Ô¹ÏÂÛ̳ High senior Ya’ir Sasson received the Applebaum Award at the 25th Annual Pillars of the Community Awards presented by The Sidney Albert ³Ô¹ÏÂÛ̳ Jewish Community Center!

This prestigious community award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Sidney Albert ³Ô¹ÏÂÛ̳ Jewish Community Center and/or the Jewish Community at-large through education, services and acts of kindness. 

During his time at ³Ô¹ÏÂÛ̳ High, Sasson has excelled academically and has become a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the National Honor Society. He plans to attend Boston University in the fall to study electrical engineering.

Sasson is a skilled swimmer and serves the community as a lifeguard at the JCC.
